Dog Pictures: Hound of the Baskervilles? Brindle Hound Dog Walking and Smiling

Can you say 'Putting On The Ritz'? Check him out... if that isn't strutting, I don't know what is! Talk about a dog that looks HAPPY! That's him! He's large, he's brindle, and some sort of hound I gather. Catahoula? I just can't tell for sure. I just love how happy he looks.

One thing I can tell you... his tail is not bobbed, though it looks like it. If you look at the shadow, you can see that he has a normal length tail. It's just looking bobbed because of the strange angle. I caught it just right, or wrong, so that it looks weird. No, I am not clever enough to do that deliberately.

WAHOOOOO! That's what he was saying, I heard it clearly! Look at him fly! He's having such a good time... ears flying, tail sailing, running full out. He is, as I've heard said, 'living like the gate was left open'. I can't help myself, I love this picture!

I think this is some sort of terrier breed? Maybe a beagle breed? I just can't be sure. I know someone out there knows... so let the rest of us in on it. I caught this fun furball at a dog park, whooping it up with everyone who would give him the time of day.

Dog Pictures: Getting The Evil Eye From This Pretty Dog XXX

If you are walking your dog after dark, and a shady character is coming toward you down the street... THIS is the look you want your dog to give them! She was a sweet dog after all, after she met me, but she made a good show of how serious she can be if necessary.

Dog Pictures: Golden Retriever Sir Boy, Black Great Dane Lady

I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Boy and Lady the day I was hanging at the Dog Park, on a canine photo safari as it were. What a trip. That Sir Boy is one beautiful dog, beautiful Golden Retriever that is. He's a big healthy one as well. It was a pleasure to meet him.

I'm afraid you can't see Lady too well, in the background there. I will have to see if I got more pictures of her. She was one stunning black Great Dane. I was very impressed by her. Such a sweet dog, and so very, very large! LOL

Dog Pictures: Happy Playing Dogs Having Fun Together

I'm think the one looks like maybe an older Beagle? And the other seems to be some sort of Terrier? Whichever they are, they seem to be having a nice day in the sun. But when I look at it closely, that handsome little black and white puppy... he looks just a little sneaky... I think he's up to no good, and that Beagle is his target!

Let's face it, whatever else we want to say about our dogs, our little buddies, our faithful friends, the most important thing to us is that they are happy.I love to see my dog happy. It's a great feeling. But of course, the opposite is that when she's not happy... believe me, I am not happy either.

Dog Pictures: Puppy Dog Convention! Black Great Dane, Samoyed, Tricolor and Merle Chihuahua, And Beagle?

What a grouping! Only in a dog park, eh? It used to be I would get a bit nervous to see a bunch of strange dogs meeting like this. I'm thinking these owners were already watching The Dog Whisperer. Or maybe they just get it already?

It's a great illustration of dogs coming in all shapes and colors and sizes. And yet, any dog owner will tell you that no matter how big or small, every dog is ready to love his owner no matter what!

Dog Pictures: Buddies

What more can I say... dogs make great buddies! This Yellow Labrador Retriever has a good friend keeping her company while she watches for the mailman!!! Her buddy is a bit of a mix, but most folks are saying he has Rhodesian Ridgeback and hound and more in him. Maybe it's time for a DNA test, eh?

Dog Pictures: Cute Happy Chihuahuas Playing Together; Tricolor and Fawn???

Maybe it's not right to say this, but I really like this picture I snapped of these two Chihuahuas playing. That little guy, he just kept running round and round and round the other one. He was flying!

I'm generally a lover of larger breeds, but even I have to admit these two are as cute as all get out! I have to give them credit for being able to move away from their owners, just a little bit even, in a dog park full of beasts that might look at them like snacks! What a fun pair!!

Dog Pictures: Happy Hound Heading Into Dog Park: Beagle-Hound Mix?

I love the look on this dog's face! I snapped this picture as I was leaving the dog park, and he was just heading in. He looks so happy to be there. It's a beautiful expression.

Check out the red harness too. I'm happy to see the harness, over a simple collar. I know collars are okay and all that, but I like the control of a harness without having to actually encircle the dog's neck, and then putting pressure on their necks when controlling them. True, not for all dogs, but I like to see it just the same.
