Dog Pictures: Unbounded Happiness And Joy In Action: Terrier?

WAHOOOOO! That's what he was saying, I heard it clearly! Look at him fly! He's having such a good time... ears flying, tail sailing, running full out. He is, as I've heard said, 'living like the gate was left open'. I can't help myself, I love this picture!

I think this is some sort of terrier breed? Maybe a beagle breed? I just can't be sure. I know someone out there knows... so let the rest of us in on it. I caught this fun furball at a dog park, whooping it up with everyone who would give him the time of day.

Dog Pictures: Happy Playing Dogs Having Fun Together

I'm think the one looks like maybe an older Beagle? And the other seems to be some sort of Terrier? Whichever they are, they seem to be having a nice day in the sun. But when I look at it closely, that handsome little black and white puppy... he looks just a little sneaky... I think he's up to no good, and that Beagle is his target!

Let's face it, whatever else we want to say about our dogs, our little buddies, our faithful friends, the most important thing to us is that they are happy.I love to see my dog happy. It's a great feeling. But of course, the opposite is that when she's not happy... believe me, I am not happy either.

I snapped this at a sort of dog festival. There were lots of dogs there, of all sorts of breeds and sizes and colors. There are like 8 different dogs in this picture. It's a pack of dogs!

I see two Boxers, some sort of Terrier in the 'carriage', a Collie or Shepherd sort of dog in the center, a Labrador looking dog to the left, with what looks to be a brindle Greyhound behind the Labrador.

If you can help with the breed identification of any of these happy dogs, please feel free to leave a comment. Thanks!

Dog Pictures: Smooth Haired Standard Fox Terrier Dog In A Top Hat!

Now I've gotta tell you right up front, I can't guarantee that I'm right on the breed this time. I mean, it's obviously a small breed dog, and sure looks like a terrier to me. When I went searching images online, Smooth Haired Standard Fox Terrier is what I came up with. Should it be miniature also? Or is this the standard size for this handsome little puppy dog? The white color with brown patches seems to match.

Either way, for being small breed, he sure looks like he can hold his own. As if the top hat weren't jaunty enough, closer inspection reveals he is wearing a BOW TIE as well! I love it! If you're curious to learn more about this small dog breed, both the Dog Breed Info Center and Wikipedia have excellent entries on the Smooth Haired Standard Fox Terrier.
