See Spot. See Spot run. Run Spot run! Anybody else remember stuff like that? I wish I had some of those old readers from grade school. What a hoot. I have to admit, there are times when I wish life were that simple still. I found an interesting article about the Dick and Jane books being published again. Wouldn't that be fun.
What a pretty dog this is. Looking a little tired or bored, but still, a really neat looking Dalmatian dog, standing near his owner, wondering when it will be time to eat again! His left front paw is taped a bit, and I hope it was minor and healed fast!
According to the Wikipedia Dalmatian entry, the country of origin of these beautiful dogs is the region of Dalmatia in the Republic of Croatia. It sounds like the earliest references to Dalmatians me be as old as 1792! Wow!
